Chicken and Mushroom Pasta - Ingredients:
- Half an onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- Four rashers of bacon
- 2x chicken breasts
- 100g Mushrooms
- 250g tagliatelle
- Parmalat Flavoured Cooking Cream Porcini Mushrooms
- 20g grated cheddar cheese
- Pinch of Salt and Pepper
- Pinch of Basil
Recipe Instructions
Step 1) Boil some water for your pasta, add salt to the saucepan. At the same time, dice your onion, mushrooms, chicken and bacon into chunks. Add the pasta to the pan once boiled.
Step 2) Heat a frying pan to a medium high temperature, once hot, add some cooking spray and your diced onion. Cook for 2 mins to soften them. Then add your chicken and bacon, cook for a further 5 mins before adding your mushrooms. Add your two garlic cloves through a garlic press and stir thoroughly before cooking for another 5 minutes. Season with some salt and pepper.
Step 3) Once everything in the frying pan is cooked, add the Parmalat Flavoured Cooking Cream Porcini Mushrooms. Allow this to heat in the pan for 2 minutes. Make sure that you do not boil the sauce. Add your grated cheese and stir in until completely melted.
Step 4) Drain the pasta once cooked and tender. Then add this to the sauce mix in the pan. Stir all the sauce over the pasta until thoroughly covered. Sprinkle over basil and salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with your favourite garlic bread and wine! Enjoy!
